"Ode to My Couch"

Ode to my couch
a 3 piece set
When I sit on it
It feel like I just sat on
the three softest pillows
I entered another world on this couch
On this heavenly couch
I was floating on a cloud
My body felt so willing
to lie on this couch forever
and never give up

"The Deep December Darkness"

The deep December darkness
gets to you now and then
it makes you dreary, tired and restless.
It's usually dark during the day, and even darker at night.

But very quiet,
until the wind suddenly strikes your window
with that uneasy and cold howling,
asking you if it can come in
and join you in your warm house.

This noise is constant and irritating
and you can't escape it because it is part of
the deep december darkness that
you live in.

"My Mom Always Told Me"

My mom always told me
"Be yourself not nobody
else"
and I lay trying to
figure out my way.

Remember when my mama said
"Be yourself not nobody
else"
I realize I have to stop
trying to fit in and be myself.

I have to show them
who I really am
and I know one day

I'll be something

"Cry At Night"

Howls at the moon,
as bright as a lamp.
Doesn't matter if it is cold or damp

Sharp teeth
grey fur
hunts at night
without a murmur

As quiet as a mouse
it attacks
a deer goes down

somewhere

"Tick Tock"

Tick Tock when I wake up
Tick Tock time to get dressed
Tick Tock I'm losing time from the test
Tick Tock that's all I hear when
I'm taking the test

Tick Tock down by one is all I hear
Tick Tock had to beat 29.2 seconds
Tick Tock the times going by fast
Tick Tock need more time for the test

Tick Tock my favorite shows coming on
Tock Tock the time when I am running on the tredmill
Tick Tock thats what I hear when running "suicides"
Tick Tock waiting for the new year

Tick Tock waiting for presents on Christmas
Tick Tock the time is moving slow when doing homework
Tick Tock the time is moving fast when I'm outside
Tick Tock while my video game is loading
